UPDATE: It is with great regret that we announce our Bluebell Sundays will not take place this year due to the on-going coronavirus outbreak.
Between late April and early May, six acres of bluebells burst into bloom creating a spectacular blue-carpet effect in Haughley Park Woods.
The gardens and woods are open for people to come and see this spectacular sight on two Sunday afternoons during this period. Come and take a stroll through the woodland and enjoy this stunning display of natural beauty.
The usually-private Haughley Park estate opens its gates for two Sundays every spring to allow people to enjoy the stunning bluebell display in the woods.
Those visiting can also delight in the beautiful landscaped gardens around the manor house.
The event takes place on the last Sunday in April and first Sunday in May, annually.
This is a fundraising event for Wetherden church with volunteers manning the gate and serving delicious teas and cakes in the Barn.
